Digital or offset printing?
Digital printing, as opposed to offset printing, does not require the creation of printing plates, as the print is transferred directly from the pdf file to the printer. There is no difference in quality between offset and digital printing, with the same high quality, pin-sharp prints.
When is digital printing a good choice?
small copy number
The disadvantage of offset printing is that you have to make a plate for each colour, which is then used to transfer the colour to the paper. For small copy number, the cost of these plates is not recovered, so digital printing is a good option.
Unique prints
If you need unique printed products, such as multi-colour or numbered tickets, you may need to reprint the plates several times. The advantage of digital printing is that the data can be modified before printing for serial numbered graphics. It is also recommended for company certificates with names

Our unique technologies for print publications
Gold/silver embossing: using gold or silver embossing foil, we can add unique decorative elements and inscriptions to the product. In addition to product labels, it can also be used on business cards for an elegant effect.
Bending: for thicker materials, a folding line is formed on the paper, so it folds neatly without any break lines
- Foiling: for a special effect on catalogues and brochures, choose a matt or glossy foil as a surface treatment.
Formastancing: the print is cut to the desired shape or specific parts can be cut out. Special choice for invitations, folded flyers.
- Perforating: perforating paper or carton along a line so that it can be torn or bent during processing or use
- Ritz-ing: the material is scored to a specified depth, for example for stickers, the top layer is cut out leaving the substrate intact.
UV and digital form varnishing: 3D surface enhancement processes that can enhance the visual experience of your offline materials or highlight key elements

Graphic material for digital printing should be sent to us in a 1:1 print pdf with crop marks and a print run. Additional specifications: CMYK colours, curved fonts.
Types of paper guide
For printing services, the paper thickness is determined by the weight of the paper. What does it mean, for example, that a paper weighs 100 grams? 100 gr means the weight of one square metre of a given type of paper, whether it is used in a smaller (e.g. business card) or larger (e.g. poster) size
What types of paper do we offer?
Offset paper: matt surface, photocopier quality
Weights: 80-170 gr
Offset carton: same surface as offset paper, with a thicker finish
Weights: 200-250gr
Art paper: glossy or matt paper with a smoothed surface, usually chosen for more demanding prints
Weights: 90-200gr
Art board/carton: same surface as art paper, with a thicker finish
Weights: 200-350gr
Which one should you choose?
For flyers we typically recommend offset paper between 90-110gr, for higher quality we recommend 135-150 gr. For a simpler business card, we recommend 300 gr plastic printing board or 320-350 gr plastic printing board.
