Both outdoors and indoors, beachflags are an effective advertising tool that will promote your printed marketing message from afar. One of the most versatile promotional tools, the beach flag can be used to draw attention to your promotions, your opening hours, or to display additional messages. You can use it as a gate or as an indoor decoration.
But you can run into problems setting it up and using it if the makers don’t pay attention to.
- Where the beachflag is going. Many people choose the wrong structures. For outdoor use, they recommend a base that is cheaper but not weatherproof. Because of its lighter weight, it will not hold up in light winds.
- Our staff can advise you on the bases and the use of your beach flag, so that it serves your brand for as long as possible.
- Accurate sizing. If not properly tailored at the time of manufacture, the result can be a floppy, wrinkled flag or, in the case of a tight fit, an overstretched structure that can break in stronger winds, especially in the case of a drop-shaped beach flag.
The sewing is done by cutting the flag to shape, then providing it with a bellows (into which the pole is inserted) and sewing a fastening cord to the bottom. This will stretch the beach flag to the desired shape, which is carefully checked every time. - Durable colour. Beachflags are produced using sublimation printing, either direct or transfer depending on the graphic and the application. This material has a thin weave so that the print is translucent and appears as a reflection on the reverse side. The colour will not lose its vibrancy for years if washed gently.

Frequently asked questions and useful tips for beach flags
For beachflags, in addition to the price of the structure and base, we also consider the size of the surface to be printed. Flag printing has a decreasing price per square metre, so the more pieces you order, the cheaper the finished beach flag will be. Get a custom quote!
Depending on the size of the beach flag, two or three interlocking poles with metal flange fittings. For drop and fin shaped beach flags, the last member is a carbon fibre weatherproof plastic that can be bent to the desired shape. The angled beach flag has a vertical element to hold the top of the flag.
It takes just a few minutes to set up and can be easily assembled by ladies. The heaviest part of the beach flag is the base, which can weigh from 4 to 6 kg. The poles consist of 2 or 3 parts and are sold in a carrying bag with the flag. In this bag you can easily transport the beach flag.
The flagpole is rotated at the base by a so-called rotator. With the right base, it can withstand strong winds outdoors. It follows the wind direction. The weight of the base is such that in a major storm the flag will simply topple over, causing no damage to the structure or the flag material.
Attention! Never tie the beach flag (e.g., by wiring) to a pole, fence or any other landmark that prevents it from tipping over. If you do tie it down, the wind can tear the flag off, and in extreme cases a major storm can break the carbon fibre pole of the beach flag.

Indoor structures are built to last. Outdoor beach flags can be made longer by protecting them from extremely strong winds and by oiling the rotator from time to time. The flag material can be washed gently. It will not shrink or lose the vibrancy of the print.
