What is screen printing in short?

In this reproduction process, which has been used in the Far East for centuries, the desired print is applied to the textile using a printing mould or screen. In addition to garment textiles, paper or plastic can also be used as a print carrier.

A flat film is applied to a screen fabric fixed to a wooden frame (the so-called film printing process), and then the logo or inscription is applied using a light-sensitive material. Depending on the substrate, it is then printed onto the substrate with a water-based or solvent-based ink.
